Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lockedin Social collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have when you use the website, mobile web app, and optional Google Calendar connection.
1. Overview
Lockedin Social is a social accountability app that helps people manage calendars, events, habits, goals, reminders, and shared progress with friends or groups. This policy applies to information collected through the website, the app, and connected integrations.
When we say "Lockedin Social," "we," "us," or "our," we mean the operators of Lockedin Social. When we say "you," we mean the person using the service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate the app and the features you choose to use.
- Account and profile data: your email address, login details, display name, username, timezone, profile information, and account preferences.
- Content you create in the app: calendars, events, habits, goals, comments, accountability activity, feedback submissions, invites, and other content you choose to add.
- Optional AI feature data: prompts, draft events, and nearby scheduling context used when you choose to use AI-assisted planning features.
- Optional notification data: push notification subscription details if you enable browser or device notifications.
- Technical and usage data: standard browser, device, log, and request data needed to secure, deliver, and maintain the service.
3. Google Calendar Data
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request access to your basic Google account information and read-only calendar data. The current integration uses these permissions to identify your connected Google account, list the calendars available to you, and import read-only copies of events into your Lockedin calendars.
- Google account data we may store: your Google account ID, email address, display name, granted scopes, and OAuth tokens needed to keep the connection active.
- Calendar metadata we may store: calendar names, descriptions, colors, access roles, time zones, selected linked calendars, and sync status.
- Event data we may store: event titles, descriptions, locations, start and end times, attendee and organizer details, external event IDs, and sync metadata for calendars you choose to link.
- What we do not do: we do not use this integration to create, edit, or delete events in your Google Calendar because the integration is read-only.
The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How We Use Information
We use information we collect to operate and improve the service, including to:
- create and secure your account;
- save and display your calendars, events, habits, goals, and shared activity;

6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate your account, provide requested features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- You can delete your account from the in-app account settings. Deleting your account is intended to remove your login and the data associated with your account.
- If you connected Google Calendar, you can also revoke the app's Google access from your Google permissions settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
